Better late than never...

... HAPPY NEW YEAR, EARTHLINGS!!!

Yeah, yeah, we missed by a clear two months, but better late than never, ey! Hope your skating's been good and the lot of you have been staying dry in this topsy-turvy-God-can't-make-up-its-mind weather.

So, lots of stuff has been going down since the start of the year, especially for us here at Brainlezz Apparels. The REVERIE MOVING BLOCK CHALLENGE, working on some new rider reels and our blogmaster getting off his big old rear to update this place (to be fair, he's been busy dealing with some personal issues like having to shift homes and such).

The REVERIE MOVING BLOCK CHALLENGE was organized in a simple "best line" format at the old GoSports in Margaret Drive. You could say that this was a farewell to a place that has seen the birth and growth of so many local [and one international, CHRIS HASLAM!] skaters. It was always the place to be skatewise. HISTORIC! Homey, comfortable and chill. It will be missed, though we hope that the Redhill joint will carry on the vibe.

The comp got rained on, but in true skate fashion, we took it indoors under the block and kept skating.

Brainlezz conributed to the competition in its own small way and one of our boys, Cody Khai, participated and enjoyed his runs though he didn't bring any silverware home this time around.

But it's all good coz we're pretty chill about everything.

And here's a reel of HAFIZ, one of our ever so chill riders. Filmed at the old GoSports locale. This is OUR farewell to Margaret Drive. Enjoy, y'all.

Well, that's it for this update. Thanks for dropping in, homies.

Stay chill.
